On April 13, 2017 I participated in Seattle Art Museum’s Migration Stories, a feature of SAM’s education programming against the backdrop of the “Jacob Lawrence: Migration Series” special exhibit.
I performed a monologue at Seattle’s first Subcontinental Drift event (open mic night celebrating South Asian culture) on September 27, 2016. I also read my poetry at Seattle’s second Subdrift event on February 16, 2017 where the theme was Love/Hate.
I was asked to discuss what my tattoos mean in relation to my poetry.
The poet did a dramatic reading of my poem dark, darker as part of his Twitter project.
